Chocolate Bread
A chocolate lovers delight! The combination of cocoa powder and chocolate chips bring out a rich chocolate flavor.
(Machine Method)
Makes one 2-lb. loaf

Ingredients:
3 2/3 cups Bread Flour
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1 1/4 cups Water
2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. Cocoa powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 tsp. SAF® Perfect Rise Yeast
1/2 cup mini Chocolate chips

Place room temperature ingredients in bread pan in the order listed. Select Basic/White cycle, Medium crust. Chocolate chips may be added at this time or five minutes before the end of the second kneading. (Some bread machines have a beeping signal to add chips.) Check dough consistency after 5 minutes of kneading, making adjustments if necessary. When cycle is complete, remove from pan; cool on rack. |
