Instructions:
Place room temperature ingredients in bread pan in the order listed. Select Dough cycle. Check dough consistency after 5 minutes of kneading, making adjustments if necessary. When cycle is complete, remove dough from pan and follow the shaping, rising and baking directions.
RISING, SHAPING, AND BAKING
On lightly floured surface, roll or pat dough to a 12- x 18-inch rectangle. Brush dough with water; sprinkle with cheese and onion. Roll up, beginning at wide side. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal well. Cut roll into 1 inch slices. Place rolls slightly apart on greased baking pans. Cover; let rise until indentation remains after lightly touching side of roll. Bake in a preheated 375ºF oven until rolls are golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. Brush with garlic butter, if desired.
